Lough Derg is an ideal, picturesque location for learning to sail. Courses are available for all levels of sailing, from introductory courses, to more advanced. If you haven’t sailed in years, this is also the perfect place to re-aquaint yourself with the sport.
Wetsuits and buoyancy aids can be supplied, or bring your own, plus suitable footwear – ideally enclosed booties. Training normally takes place using club boats, so it is not necessary to have your own.

We hope to run an adult coaching course this weekend 11th-14h August.
There will be a short introductory session on Friday evening (6 ~ 9 pm), a session on Saturday morning (10 am -1 pm), one on Sunday afternoon (1-4 pm) and a final wrap up on Monday evening (6 ~ 9 pm). The cost for the weekend is €120.
