Killaloe Sailing Club provides family-friendly sailing facilities, including leisure sailing, racing, adult and junior coaching, and junior and adult summer camps. Like many clubs across the country, Killaloe Sailing Club is run by volunteers.
Membership fees are very modest, and set at a level to make the sport affordable for members, with the overall ambition being to make sailing as accessible as possible, adhering tightly to our Social Inclusion Policy.
In addition to recent development of modern clubhouse facilities, club plans for the coming years include continued extension of links with the local community through arrangements with the Scouts, Cubs, local language and state schools; hosting regional and even national events, and expanding the number of ISA accredited sailing courses on offer, thereby ensuring the continued pipeline of new sailors to the sport.
Sailing is one sport that encompasses all ages from the very small to the older generations. Ours is a vibrant club that is well supported by the local community.
