Sailing camps for 2024 are now open for booking.
Kids’ Sailing Camps at Killaloe Sailing Club are one of the highlights of the Club’s calendar – seeing so many happy children from ages 9 to 17 years enjoying the fresh air, having lots of fun, building their confidence and learning the skills of sailing. No matter what the weather, these sailing camps are always a tremendous success and see kids returning year on year to advance their sailing knowledge and reconnect with friends made the year previously.
KSC Member – €180 per week
Non- Member – €210 per week
As an Irish Sailing approved training centre (since 2016) all levels of sailing are catered for, from beginners to advanced. Full safety cover is provided at all times and tuition is delivered by qualified sailing instructors.
CAMP INFORMATION
Camps run from 10 am – 4 pm with approximately a half-hour lunch break.
If your child needs a wetsuit or buoyancy aid, you can borrow them from the club, however, it is preferable to bring your own if you have them.
Participants will need to bring:
· Swimsuit/togs and water shoes or old runners/shoes that can get wet.
· A towel
· Warm jumper or fleece and a change of clothing
· Sun protection cream
· Packed lunch and beverage if required – water is available on site
