A Taste of Sailing

A “Taster Evening” is an opportunity to try sailing.  It is open to individuals and families. The charge is nominal: 10 euro for an individual; 20 euro for a family.

If you subsequently decide to become a member of Killaloe sailing Club, the charge is set against the cost of Club Membership.

The format for the “Taster Evening” is simple: arrive at 18.00 to rig the dinghy; change into sailing gear; 18.30 launch. 19.30 return to base.

If there is a second group on the evening, a different arrival time will be arranged, probably 19.00.

This is why it is essential to fill out an Application Form; we can then assign times, arrange supervisors, safety boats etc.

“Taster Evening” Dates:

May 5th Thursday; May 12th Thursday; May 19th Thursday; May 26th Thursday; June 2nd Thursday; July 7th Thursday.
