Welcome to Killaloe Sailing Club
Killaloe Sailing Club, established in 1973, is a non-profit, volunteer-run dinghy sailing club, located 6km from the twin villages of Killaloe, County Clare and Ballina, County Tipperary, on the western shore of Ireland’s beautiful Lough Derg.
The club offers individuals and families the opportunity to enjoy dinghy sailing on the lake, in a safe environment, at whatever pace or level they wish. From the complete novice looking to establish the basics and just enjoy being out on the water, to the experienced sailor looking for the adrenalin of competitive racing.
Killaloe Sailing Club is affiliated to the Irish Sailing Association, and membership of the club is open to anybody of any age with an interest in dinghy sailing, whether they are experienced or novice, with their own boat, or without. There is a tremendously friendly atmosphere in the club, and a warm welcome always awaits any new member. Please feel free to come along to see what it’s all about, and either give sailing a go for the first time, or return to sailing again if you haven’t been on the water in a while.
